Black Belt World has a new class schedule, copies of which can be found in the BBW lobby.
The benefits of our new schedule features an improved training curriculum and simplified lessons, including modifications to your breaking and self-defense techniques. This is all meant to provide you, our student, with a more satisfying Tae Kwon-Do experience.
By grouping classes by belt rank, we will now have smaller class sizes and more focused instruction, allowing you to get more one-on-one attention with the Masters. We have also modified our weekly topics. As before, main lesson topics will begin from the second week of the month. Topic A will be Sparring; Topic B will be Forms; Topic C will include One Step Self-defense, Breaking, and Knowledge. The topics will run like this: A, B, C, B. There will be a Review week during five-week months. We are focusing more time on Forms to emphasize their importance as the basis of every belt level. One Step Self-defense will now be 1-3, a modification to our previous 1-6 teaching method which will improve your learning experience by allowing for more practice time for each step. We will soon have YouTube videos demonstrating each belt's One Step Self-defense posted in our Phoenix Club section of blackbeltworld.com under Video Tutorials. Please take advantage of all of BBW's helpful Video Tutorials.
